Privacy Policy

This page explains what information is collected when you use this website to book a mentorship session, and how it’s used. It applies to this site only.

Information collected

When you book a session, the following is collected directly from you:

• Your name and email address, entered on the booking form.
• The session time(s) you choose, and your device’s detected time zone (used so times display correctly for you and on your calendar invite).
• Payment details, entered directly into PayPal’s own checkout — this site never receives or stores your card or bank information. See PayPal’s own privacy policy for how it handles payment data.

How it’s used

• To create the booked session as a Google Calendar event, with a Google Meet link, and to send you and the mentor a calendar invite by email.
• To confirm and process payment for the session, via PayPal.
• To contact you about a booking — for example, to reschedule or answer a question you’ve raised.

Your name and email are not used for marketing, and are not sold or shared with anyone outside the services above (Google, for calendar/video; PayPal, for payment).

What’s stored, and where

This site doesn’t have its own database. Booking records live only in the mentor’s Google Calendar (as the event itself) and in PayPal’s transaction records. Removing a calendar event or contacting the mentor to delete your information removes it from the calendar; PayPal retains payment records per its own policy and applicable law.

Cookies & local storage

This site does not use tracking or advertising cookies. Your browser may store small amounts of technical data locally (for example, to remember your time zone while booking) purely to make the booking flow work; nothing here is shared with third parties for tracking purposes.

Third-party services

Booking a session shares data with two third parties, each under their own privacy policy:

• Google (Calendar & Meet) — to create your session event and video link.
• PayPal — to process payment.

Your choices

You can ask to have your booking information removed at any time by contacting the mentor directly using the details on the About section of this site. You’re also free to decline sharing information and not use the booking flow.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the “last updated” date at the top of this page will change too. Continued use of the site after an update means you accept the revised policy.
